About Gabe Davide

High performance reining In his fourth year as a respected and successful reining trainer, Gabe Davide focuses on training and showing Open reiners - notching up Derby wins - and on coaching Non Pro clients. He trains and shows reining horses with one goal: consistent performance at the horse’s highest potential.  Early success At twenty-six, Gabe has rapidly built both his reputation and his business since taking over as reining trainer at the Buck N Horse Ranch in January 2004. He had worked there for four and a half years as assistant trainer to Warwick Schiller, and then went to Texas to work with Dell Hendricks.

Eight months later, Gabe took the opportunity to return to California as the Buck N Horse Ranch's resident reining trainer.

Gabe is no stranger to achievement. He grew up on a boarding and breeding facility in California and was on a horse almost as soon as he could walk. He competed all-around as a youth on the AQHA circuit, winning numerous awards. As well as participating in 4H, he was president of his local FFA chapter. With his complete commitment and growing success, Gabe looks forward to a long career developing and showing reiners at national level.
